Terms of Use & Service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

These Terms of Use & Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Authority Assessments website, assessments, digital products, consulting services, strategy services, implementation services, and related resources.

By accessing our website, completing an assessment, purchasing from us, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

01

About Authority Assessments

Authority Assessments provides strategy, consulting, assessment funnel development, marketing services, educational resources, digital products, and related services for businesses, experts, creators, consultants, and other professionals.

Authority Assessments is operated by Chanti Zak Marketing Inc., British Columbia, Canada. Full contact details are provided at the end of these Terms.

02

Business and Educational Purposes

Our website, assessments, recommendations, content, products, and services are provided for business, informational, strategic, marketing, and educational purposes.

Nothing provided by Authority Assessments should be interpreted as legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, psychological, or other regulated professional advice.

You are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice where necessary.

03

Assessments Are Not Guarantees

Assessments, diagnostics, quizzes, scorecards, ratings, recommendations, classifications, and similar tools necessarily simplify complex situations.

An assessment result reflects the information submitted and the methodology used at that time.

Results should be treated as a strategic input, not an objective or permanent statement about you, your business, your capabilities, or your future performance.

We do not guarantee that:

  • Every result will perfectly reflect your circumstances
  • Every recommendation will be appropriate for every business
  • Following a recommendation will result in increased leads, sales, revenue, authority, audience growth, or other outcomes

You remain responsible for evaluating and implementing any decisions arising from an assessment.

04

No Earnings or Results Guarantee

Authority Assessments may discuss marketing performance, conversion rates, leads, sales, revenue, client results, case studies, or other business outcomes.

These examples are not promises or guarantees of your results.

Business performance is affected by many factors outside our control, including your:

  • Market
  • Audience
  • Offer
  • Pricing
  • Reputation
  • Experience
  • Execution
  • Sales ability
  • Traffic
  • Follow-up
  • Business model
  • Economic conditions

You accept responsibility for your own business decisions and results.

05

Purchases

Prices, payment schedules, deliverables, timelines, and other purchase-specific terms will be presented on the relevant checkout page, proposal, order form, statement of work, or service agreement.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information and authorize us or our payment processor to charge the applicable amount.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, prices do not include taxes that we are legally required to collect.

06

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund and cancellation rights may vary by product or service.

Any refund policy displayed on the applicable sales page, checkout page, proposal, agreement, or order form forms part of these Terms.

Where no separate refund policy is stated:

Digital products and immediately accessible materials

Because access is provided immediately, digital products are generally non-refundable once access has been delivered, except where required by law.

Consulting and strategy sessions

Payments for booked consulting, strategy, or advisory sessions are generally non-refundable.

If rescheduling is permitted, you must provide any notice required in the booking confirmation or applicable agreement.

Done-for-you or implementation services

Cancellation, refund, termination, deposit, and payment obligations for custom or ongoing client work will be governed by the proposal, statement of work, or service agreement applicable to that engagement.

If a separate written agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the separate agreement controls for that engagement.

07

Client Responsibilities

If you hire Authority Assessments to provide strategy, design, implementation, copywriting, funnel development, assessment development, or related services, you are responsible for providing reasonably timely:

  • Information
  • Feedback
  • Approvals
  • Brand assets
  • Login or software access where required
  • Accurate business information
  • Legal or compliance requirements specific to your industry

Delays in providing necessary materials may affect timelines.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving final materials before publication unless otherwise agreed.

08

Compliance of Client Marketing

Authority Assessments may help create assessments, funnels, emails, landing pages, segmentation, marketing automation, and other marketing assets.

You remain responsible for ensuring that your business and marketing comply with the laws, regulations, professional standards, advertising rules, privacy requirements, consent requirements, and industry-specific obligations that apply to you.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Email marketing laws
  • Privacy and data protection laws
  • Advertising rules
  • Consumer protection rules
  • Professional licensing restrictions
  • Required disclaimers
  • Claims relating to health, finance, earnings, or other regulated areas

Unless specifically included in writing, Authority Assessments does not provide legal compliance review.

11

Ownership and licensing of custom client deliverables may be further defined in a proposal, contract, or statement of work.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, once all applicable fees have been paid, the client may use final custom deliverables created specifically for that client in their own business.

Authority Assessments retains ownership of:

  • Pre-existing intellectual property
  • General methodologies
  • Know-how
  • Frameworks
  • Processes
  • Tools

… that existed before the engagement or were developed independently of the client’s confidential information.

12

We will not publicly identify you as a client or publish confidential client information without permission where permission is reasonably expected.

If you voluntarily provide a testimonial, review, endorsement, screenshot, or similar feedback, you grant us permission to use it in our marketing unless you tell us otherwise.

For more detailed case studies involving confidential business information or identifiable results, we may request additional permission.

13

Confidentiality

During a consulting or client engagement, both parties may receive non-public information about the other party.

Each party agrees to take reasonable steps to protect confidential information and not disclose it except where reasonably necessary to perform the services, operate the business, work with contractors or service providers subject to appropriate obligations, or comply with law.

Confidential information does not include information that:

  • Is already publicly available
  • Was lawfully known before disclosure
  • Is independently developed without use of confidential information
  • Is lawfully received from another source without a confidentiality obligation
14

Artificial Intelligence

Authority Assessments may use AI-enabled tools, automation, or software in the course of providing services.

These tools may assist with research, ideation, analysis, drafting, data organization, assessment logic, content development, or operational tasks.

We do not represent AI-generated output as infallible.

Where AI or automation is used, professional judgment and human review may also form part of our process.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the use of commercially reasonable AI and automation tools is considered an ordinary part of our service delivery process.

15

Our website and services may depend on third-party software or platforms.

These may include assessment platforms, email providers, payment processors, scheduling tools, analytics services, AI tools, website hosts, advertising platforms, and other software.

  • Suspension of your account by a third party
  • Third-party security incidents outside our reasonable control

Your use of those platforms may also be subject to their own terms.

16

Website Availability

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict access to any part of our website, free resources, assessments, or content at any time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

18

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our website, free content, assessments, and services are provided without warranties other than warranties expressly stated in a written agreement.

We do not warrant that the website or services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every individual business situation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

19

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Authority Assessments and its owner, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, assessments, products, or services.

This includes loss of profits, revenue, data, opportunities, goodwill, or anticipated business results.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

24

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable checkout terms, proposal, statement of work, service agreement, refund policy, and Privacy Policy, form the agreement governing your use or purchase of the relevant services.

Where a signed or specifically negotiated agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the specific agreement controls.
